Ross is currently a board director of AdvantageBC and of Scottish Canadian Business Association of British Columbia (‘ScotCanBC’). Ross was a member of the high-profile Board Governance Task Force on director pay of Coast Capital Savings Credit Union.


TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION - CEO MENTOR, PANEL JUDGE & GUEST SPEAKER

For over 10 years, Ross has mentored CEOs of early-stage technology ventures - with a focus on innovators within financial technology and clean technology. Ross has supported entrepreneurial finance through guest speaking at post-secondary institutions and by acting as a panel judge of business plan competitions.


Trade and Investment - NON-PROFIT LEADERSHIP, GOVERNMENT SUPPORT & TRADE ADVISORY

For over 10 years, Ross has sought to positively stimulate economic growth through relevant board positions; membership of GlobalScot network; support to international trade missions; and meetings with company executives that are considering trade or investment.


SPORTS EXCELLENCE - COACH, INSTRUCTOR & OFFICIAL

Ross has completed certifications in multiple sports, including alpine ski race coach; alpine ski race official; alpine ski instructor; and curling coach. In B.C., Ross has coached athletes of Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Race Club and the public through Grouse Mountain Snow School.
